The businessman finds the key to success with the opening of a store
Dan Sault started his Shropshire Lock and Key business in Madeley and has had an extremely busy first year.
“I was overwhelmed with the response to the business – we’ve been going all out since our opening 12 months ago,” said Dan, who worked as a locksmith for 15 years before taking on his own sales premises at detail at Court Street.
Store manager Lee McLaughlin added, “It was definitely the right decision to take Madeley’s store because it’s a great little town.
“We love being part of the community here and we have a lot of local customers although our customer base has now grown to cover a much larger area of Shropshire. “
Dan and Lee provide 24/7 calling service as well as a range of other services.
Sally Themans of Love Madeley, an initiative that aims to promote the city, said 2022 was looking good for the region.
“Several new businesses are being opened in the coming months – including Boulton’s Butchers and Mid West Planning – both made possible by Telford & Wrekin’s Pride in Our High Street grants.
“There is a good spirit within Madeley’s business community, who all work together on great events and regularly share news and ideas.
“Lock and Key are fervent ambassadors for Madeley and we congratulate them on their first anniversary. “
