Michael Flood Obituary (1928 – 2022) – Upper Darby, Pennsylvania

Michael J. “Mike” Flood, 93, of Morton, Pennsylvania, died January 12, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Fayne Flood (née Runkle) Flood and the son of the late Francis and Frances Flood ( née Wanbaugh).
Mike loved to go on cruises with his wife Fayne and their friends, but especially enjoyed taking his grandchildren on vacation to Florida every year. They would go to Disney World and Daytona Beach. He loved football and was a huge Eagles and Penn State fan. Mike also enjoyed spending time on the Jersey Shore with his family and friends. He had previously been employed by Westinghouse and then Boeing as a sheet metal worker until his retirement. Mike and Fayne were members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and they were also involved with Our Lady of Fatima Church
Mike was the loving father of the late Rickie McDonald, doting grandfather of Sean McDonald (Kristi), Shannon Bowden (Eric), Michael McDonald and Brittany Murphy (Kiernan). He was also a wonderful great-grandfather of 8 great-grandchildren and a friend to many.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Avenue, Morton, PA, followed by her funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
