Launch of the Volkswagen Polo Matte Edition soon; Arrives at dealerships
Volkswagen introduced the new Polo Matte Edition in March 2021. The model, slated for launch this holiday season, has started arriving at dealerships. The next Volkswagen Polo Matte Edition is expected to be the most affordable factory-built car with the Matte color scheme. Based on the GT trim, the new special model will likely cost around Rs 20,000 more than the standard Polo GT currently available at Rs 9.93 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Volkswagen Polo Matte Edition has a matte finish on the body panels as well as a contrasting gloss black finish on the door handles, MRVOs and the rear spoiler. It comes with silver V-spoke alloy rims. The new special edition retains the original design elements and dimensions. The sporty treatment also continues inside the cockpit. The new Polo Matte Edition features an all-black interior with a checkered fabric upholstery.
The matte edition of the sedan will have a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink connectivity. It will also benefit from Climatronic automatic air conditioning. The feature list will include a multi-information display, a simple-designed dashboard, keyless access, cruise control, Bluetooth, AUX-IN and USB connectivity, floor lamps and more.

The standard safety kit for the next Polo Matte edition will include two front airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), parking sensors rear, an auto-dimming rear interior. rear-view mirror and anti-pinch electric windows.
No changes will be made under the hood. The new Volkswagen Polo Matte Edition will be equipped with the same 1.0L turbocharged gasoline engine powering the regular Polo GT. The petrol unit has been tuned to generate a peak power of 110 hp and a maximum torque of 175 Nm. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The new Matte Edition will be able to reach 100 km / h from standstill in 10.79 seconds.
