A public swimming pool in Napier, a Rotorua bar and a cafe in the small village of Paerata are among the latest places of interest linked to the Covid-19 outbreak.

People who visited Ocean Spa Napier, at Marine Pde, between 5.45pm and 8.45pm on Tuesday 18th January are asked to self-monitor for symptoms of Covid-19 for 10 days.

Anyone with symptoms should get tested and stay home until they get a negative test result.

Also in Napier on the same day is KFC, in Dickens St, which was visited between 8.45pm and 10.15pm.

Other locations added to the list are Kasper’s Sports Bar (Gaming Room) on Tutanekai Street between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18. It is a close contact.

And Rise n Shine Café Paerata, at Jonah Lomu Dr, between 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 16.

There are two new landmarks on the South Island, New World, at High St, Motueka, between 4-4:32 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18.

And Countdown, in High Street, Motueka, between 4:51 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.

According to the Ministry of Health (MoH) website there were 23 new places of interest on Friday 21 January.

Among them was Pak’n Save Manukau, at Cavendish Dr, who was added to the list at 6 p.m.

Anyone who visited the supermarket between 7:58 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday January 19 should self-monitor for symptoms for 10 days.

A number of places of interest in Palmerston North were announced on Friday, all linked to an Omicron case.
