A 70-year-old Pakistani broke the Guinness World Record for ‘most apples crushed in hand in one minute’ by crushing 21 apples.
Naseem Uddin used his grip strength to crush a record total of 21 apples in less than a minute, surpassing the previous world record of 13 by eight apples or achieving a lead of over 61%.
Naseem’s son Mohammad Rashid is himself a serial record holder with an astonishing 70 Guinness World Records in martial arts.
Naseem completed the world record attempt on August 22, 2021 in Karachi, however, this was officially announced by Guinness on Tuesday, May 24 – a typical schedule for the record-keeping organization to verify world records.

“Naseem once worked with iron as a welder, that’s how he got all the strength in his hands,” Guinness World Records said on Facebook, sharing a video of the man crushing apples with the strength of his grip strength as he pressed 21 fruits with the knuckle of his thumb.

“70-year-old steelworker Naseem Uddin (Pakistan) used his powerful grip to smash this record,” read the caption of the Facebook post.
